7th Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast (TNPB)

Developing Together: One People, One Nation Under God.

About TNPB

The Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast (TNPB) is not a single meeting — it is a series of fellowships, luncheons and dinners culminating in a national breakfast, where leaders from government, faith communities, business, and civil society gather to pray, reflect, and give thanks for their country.

The tradition began in 1953 in Washington, D.C., and has since spread to nations across the world. Tanzania's own gathering has been hosted annually since March 2016 by the Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT).

National Impact

The Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast continues to shape the moral and leadership landscape of the nation by fostering unity, integrity, and servant leadership across all sectors. Through year-round engagement and high-level national gatherings, TNPB inspires leaders to serve with accountability, wisdom, and a shared commitment to Tanzania's future.

Promoting National Unity

We bring together leaders across political, religious, and institutional lines in a spirit of prayer and shared national purpose — fostering harmony, reconciliation, and collaboration for the common good.

Advancing Ethical Governance

Through leadership dialogues and capacity-building programmes, we strengthen integrity, transparency, and accountability in public service and national governance.

Cultivating Servant Leadership

By uniting diverse sectors in prayer and reflection, we help promote peace, stability, and mutual respect within Tanzania's social fabric.

Strengthening Cross-Sector Collaboration

TNPB creates a trusted platform where government, faith institutions, business leaders, and civil society can build meaningful partnerships for national development.
