Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast (TNPB)

About KLNT

The Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast (TNPB) is an annual national gathering that brings together leaders from government, faith communities, business, and civil society to pray, reflect, and seek divine guidance for the United Republic of Tanzania.

It is a non-partisan and interfaith platform where leaders unite — not as representatives of political or religious factions — but as stewards of the nation, committed to wisdom, integrity, peace, and shared national purpose under God.

Hosted annually since March 2016 by the Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT),

  • To unite in prayer and thanksgiving for Tanzania.
  • To cultivate God-fearing national leaders who are ethically sound, accountable, and
  • patriotic through leadership development and capacity building.

GENESIS AND BRIEF HISTORY

The Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast has been convened annually since March 2016 under the leadership of Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT).

Over the years, the event has been officiated and attended by senior national leaders including the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and former Prime Ministers Hon. Mizengo Pinda and Hon. Frederick Sumaye (Patrons of KLNT).

Our Vision

The Tanzania National Prayer Breakfast is envisioned as a structured series of meetings, fellowships, luncheons, and the annual national gathering designed to unite leaders in prayer, promote ethical leadership, and deliver capacity-building programmes that strengthen moral and national values.

  • Proposed Host: Office of the National Assembly (Parliament) of the United Republic of Tanzania.
  • Organisers: Kingdom Leadership Network Tanzania (KLNT) and World Vision Tanzania (WVT).
